Josh Marshall- 2 Years of Service
Auburn Game Day Staff - "Hero of the Game"
Stadium People is saddened to learn of the passing of Auburn University event staff member Josh Marshall. Josh passed away unexpectedly on December 26, 2021 and has been part of the Stadium People team since September 2019.
Josh will be remembered for his love of Auburn athletics, flight, and always having a smile on his face as he welcomed Auburn fans to Jordan-Hare Stadium and Auburn Arena. He was also recently recognized as “Hero of the Game” prior to the Auburn men’s basketball game vs. Murray State on December 22, 2021. Josh honorably served 4 years in the US Navy and was scheduled to graduate in the Spring of 2022 from Auburn University with a degree in Professional Flight. Josh was also a member of the Auburn University Student Veterans Association. The ASVA is utilizing their current secretary, Ricky Ballenger (@Ricky-Ballenger) to donate funds to the family through his Venmo account, for individuals wishing to help contribute to funeral expenses.
In addition, in honor of Josh, the Marshall family and the Auburn Student Veterans Association have decided to set up an annual scholarship fund for student veterans at Auburn University.
This scholarship will be used in the years to come to help student veterans demonstrating a financial need. This scholarship will be given to students that embody the spirit and love for life that Josh portrayed to others every day. Please consider a donation to the link below to support this

While working for Stadium People, I am most proud of being a person with compassion. I help everyone but especially those with special needs. I think about how I would like to be treated.
A special moment for me is when I decided to let a couple with a special needs child sit in a loge out of the blazing sun. They thanked me and every time they come to COTA for an event, they track me down to say hello.
I would like to thank everyone that I work with. When I am happy they celebrate and sing with me. When I am sad the team surrounds me with confort and love even when we have not seen each other for awhile.
